Waterfall — South coast, near Lakkoma
Kremastos is a genuine rarity — a freshwater waterfall on the island's south coast near Lakkoma that falls directly off the cliffs into the Aegean, rather than into an inland pool like Fonias or Gria Vathra.
Most visitors reach it by boat, a 30–45 minute trip from Kamariotissa or Pachia Ammos beach that also takes in the coastline along the way. The hiking route, starting near Lakkoma village, is the harder option — steep and rocky in places, and roughly 1.5–2 hours each way.
Late spring through early autumn is the practical window; the boat trip is by far the easier way to see it if the hike doesn't appeal.
